Answer: When two or more alternator operating in parallel fulfill the desired conditions they are said to be in synchronism the operation of getting alternators in synchronism is called synchronising.
Synchronisations of alternator can also defined as it is the process of connecting an alternator into grid in parallel with many other alternator.
