Answer: Earth electrode nothing, it may be a wire, rod, pipe, plate and any array of conductor embedded in ground horizontally or vertically is called electrodes. It is the arrangement to which earth wire is connected. Generally, we use pipes ! in pipe earthing as an earth electrode and plate in plate earthing as an earth electrode.

One or more conductors which are buried in the ground, and which serve to provide an earth connection. Also called ground electrode. When such an electrode consists of a large copper plate, also called earth plate.
